T.Y.P.E Incs mission is to create intentional behavior for underserved community members demonstrated through community outreach, education and STEM, alternative youth activities and police engagement.
T.Y.P.E. Inc. was established as a 501 c3 nonprofit organization in Prince George’s County, MD to address obstacles faced by the youth in underserved communities. T.Y.P.E. Inc’s founding members are from the communities that we are trying to help. While providing service to the community through outreach and community events T.Y.P.E. Inc will be dedicated to help strengthen families and create strong ties between our youth and the community by nurturing the holistic development of young minds through community outreach, offering a diverse range of engaging and rewarding activities that will inspire and empower our youth to explore passions, build essential life skills, and foster a sense of community.

Kevin Williams, is a native Washingtonian born and raised in the Congress Heights area of Ward 8. Mr. Williams attended Theodore Roosevelt High School and later transferred to Frank W. Ballou Senior High School, graduating in June 1997. Upon graduation from high school Kevin attended Historically Black College (H.B.C.U.), Delaware State University from 1997 – 2001. Kevin majored in Business Administration. Mr. Williams has over 30 years of customer service experience and 20 years of management experience from various industries, including retail, manufacturing, transportation, warehouse distribution, and logistics. He is a serviced-focused individual dedicated to giving every customer a positive experience to promote loyalty and generate repeat business. A man dedicated to serving and rebuilding his community, as a member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Kevin joined the Prison Ministry from 2012-2015 as an outreach volunteer. The group visited the Ordnance/Jennifer Roads Detention Center twice a week to speak with inmates. In addition, the ministry assisted the inmates in developing a plan of action for transitioning from inmates to citizens.

Terence received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Delaware State University. Terence is a mentor, volunteer high school basketball coach, and he serves as a founding member of Teaching Youth Prosperity and Excellence (T.Y.P.E Inc, 501c3). He champions customer service, professionalism, and human capital. He brings over a decade of leadership experience in the fields of Transportation, Sales and Customer Service, Risk Management, Risk Analysis, and government contract support. After twenty-one years of supporting government contracts in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, Terence followed his passion of community service and business relations. He has volunteered for the Prince George’s County Police Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, Upper Marlboro Boys and Girls Club, Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) sports, and he serves as President of the Board of Directors for Aspire to Inspire Others, Inc. (ATIOI).

Christian received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Christian is a distinguished IT Technical Lead and IT manager with over 20 years of experience in a diverse range of management and technical knowledge within multiple industry settings, where he leads efforts in design, development, and implementations of systems. Christian has a passion for serving the community and serves as a founding member of Teaching Youth Prosperity and Excellence INC. (T.Y.P.E. Inc 501c3). He worked for the United States Peace Corps during the summers of his college years where his values of service were strengthened. Christian has served Washington DC and Maryland through various organizations such as The Boy Scouts of America (BSA), Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC), and the American Athletic Union (AAU).
